On Wednesday 23rd June all year 8 students took part in an interactive Language Awareness quiz, using the Qwizdom software.

The purpose of the day, organised by Miss S Kelly, Mr B O’Donnell and Miss M Shanks, was to highlight just how much new language and related translation skills they have acquired after just one year of learning new languages.

The questions tested students’ knowledge of Spanish, French, German and Irish. Students also had to use their knowledge of the two languages they study to answer questions in the two they don’t.

The winners in each form group were presented with a prize at the end of the lesson.
