This year the St Columb's College Lego League Team devoted quite a bit of time both after school and on Saturday mornings preparing for the NI competition on Tues 24th November.

This effort paid off as we were delighted to achieve a 1st place in the “Robot Design” category, and a very respectable 2nd place in the hotly contested “Robot Performance” event.

We feel that this was down to the input from both our University of Ulster mentors, Mr Anthony McCourt and and Dr Jose Santos, in addition to the effort from our own pupils.

We wish to thank and acknowledge their assistance and we look forward to continuing our association with the University of Ulster at Magee in any future endeavours.
